Postnatal Doula Support in Lytham

Holistic postpartum care on the Fylde Coast.

rest and recover with in home support.

Are you looking for postnatal doula support in Lytham?

Imagine a postpartum where you're thriving not just surviving.

Preparing for a positive, supported fourth trimester is just as important as birth and pregnancy. It's an emotional, physical and energetically altering season.

Build a village they say. But what happens when the village doesn't show in the ways we hoped?

You're up all night learning how to feed and soothe your baby, your body slowly repairing from birth. Then you're expected to do it all instead of prioritising rest, nourishment and connection with your baby.

I believe we should hold the mother, because the baby is already being held.

And that's exactly what I'm here to do.

Postnatal Doula Care in Lancashire

Hi, I'm Demi

I care deeply about how you feel during pregnancy birth and postpartum. I am a mother of two, experienced birth doula and creative. Holding space for mothers in every season of life. It was after my own experience of motherhood that shifted everything for me and shaped me into someone new that I felt called to this work.

You deserve so much more than tea and toast and a 6 week check up.

I don't care if you haven't done the washing up or there are milk stained sheets in your home. I am there to hold space for you with 0 judgement, a listening ear and to be the village you need in those early weeks.

Holistic Postnatal Doula Support

You don't have to do this alone.

Adjusting to life with a baby, the early days are wonderfully magic and chaotic all at once. Your mothering heart has stretched more than you can imagine but you're also in the thick of it. Sleepless nights, healing, learning each others rhythms and trying to juggle it all.

Society's message for mothers to bounce back is totally unrealistic. The expectations placed on new mothers are so misaligned with maternal physiology.

Caring for you in the fourth trimester

Mothers need nurturing, feeding, a space to share and someone to help carry the maternal load.

This is the bare minimum.

I'll meet you where you're at postpartum. A listening ear, a hand to hold, practical help or to pop the kettle on.

I believe mothers are the centre of the earth and deserve the upmost respect. You created, birthed and nurture life, that's nothing short of a miracle.

Invite me to nurture you.
