The overwhelming love, new beginnings and your heart is stretched wider than you could imagine. My in-home newborn sessions in Lytham are designed to be as natural and relaxing as possible. Gently guided and baby centred, come as you are and I’ll capture the magic in between.

FAQ
When should I book?
The best time for a newborn session is in the first 2 weeks of life. It is important to book whilst you are pregnant to ensure availability.
We go from your estimated due date and pencil in a date 2 weeks after this. This date is flexible and adjustable depending on babies arrival. I understand the unpredictability of postpartum and how it looks different for each family!
I do accept bookings at any time within the first few weeks of your little ones life. Don't worry if they're not in the sleepy stage it can be beautiful to document those early smiles.
Can all the family join in?
This session is ideal for 2 adults and up to 4 children. For extended family please contact me for details and further information as this will include additional charges due to time and the nature of photographing more people.
How do I prepare for my newborn session?
Upon booking we will have an initial consultation and discuss all the details of your photography session. Each newborn experience is unique and tailored to you. I will send you a guide which covers everything you need to know and what to expect.
When will I receive my images?
My turn around time for images is 3 weeks from the date of your photoshoot. You will receive your hand edited gallery via email.
Do you require a deposit?
I request a £50 non refundable deposit to secure your session with me. The remaining payment is due 48 hours before your scheduled session.
How should we dress for our newborn session?
To get the best out of your photos I recommend neutral, earthy or muted colours as these are timeless and keep the focus on your family. The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable. When you book I will send you a detailed guide for styling.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Yes! I specialise in lifestyle photography which means that I capture natural moments. I offer gentle posing suggestions to guide you through the photoshoot. Posing for photos can feel a bit awkward at first, but don’t worry I will make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
My house isn't perfect, does that matter?
Not at all! It doesn't matter if your house isn't tidy, you've just given birth nobody expects a perfect home. I work in the rooms with the best natural light ideally near a window. These sessions aren't about perfection, its about meeting you where you're at postpartum and documenting the real, raw emotions of your newborn bubble.

I am based in Lancashire and cover Lytham, Blackpool, Preston, Poulton and beyond.
