Birth Doula in Lytham, Lancashire

Doula support in Lancashire For women who trust their intuition and want to feel deeply connected and confident in their birth.

Are you looking for a birth doula in Lytham, Lancashire?

Supporting you from pregnancy, birth and beyond

Hi, my name is

Demi Juniper

Lancashire Birth Doula

Imagine the moment you finally hold your baby in your arms, the ecstatic joy, the feeling of "I did it!" What if you felt so confident in your choices that a positive birth felt inevitable?

You might be planning a home birth, a free birth, preparing for a VBAC, or coming into this pregnancy knowing you will not hand your power over again.

Maybe your last experience left you feeling unheard, overridden, or disconnected

and this time, something in you is asking for more.

My role is not to lead you, but to walk alongside you.

Supporting you as you reconnect with your intuition, your confidence, and your innate ability to birth your baby.

You want to understand your options.

To feel knowledgeable and rooted in your choices.

To trust yourself deeply.

Because this kind of confidence changes everything.

Doula support in Lytham for free thinking women who refuse to walk blindly into birth and want to feel like an absolute goddess when you hold your baby in your arms.

I work with mothers who know that they are the ones with the final say.

Who are ready to take ownership of their birth, while being fully supported as they do so.

I believe it is deeply important that women feel heard, respected and supported throughout every stage of pregnancy and birth.

As your doula, I provide emotional, physical, practical and intuitive support, holding space for you as you navigate this transformative time. Because birth is not something to simply endure, it is a rite of passage, one that stays with you for the rest of your life.

How you feel about your birth matters.

You are the SOVEREIGN of your birth.

I am a mother of two, a birth doula and photographer, devoted to supporting women who are choosing to step outside of fear-based narratives and reclaim their autonomy in birth.

Whether you are preparing for your first baby or approaching birth again after an experience that didn’t feel like yours, I will walk alongside you.

Not to lead, but to support you as you trust your body, your instincts, and your baby.

Being informed and supported is essential, whether you are navigating the NHS maternity system or choosing to birth outsider of the medical system.

I specialise in supporting mothers planning VBACs, home births, free births, and those choosing to birth outside of guidelines, especially when they’ve been labelled “high risk” and feel like their dream birth is slipping away.

Deep down, you know you can do this, you just need a doula who will hold space for you every step of the way.

Who you choose to have at your birth matters.

Connection matters.

Feeling safe matters.

This is your birth, your body and your baby. You and your baby deserve the freedom, power and clarity that autonomous birth offers.

What mothers are saying about working with me

You’ve honestly smashed it, the photos are amazing and so in the moment and real.

We both said how amazing you were and how you blended so well into the background.

Looking at the photos made me so proud of my body and the three babies she’s grown, birthed and nurtured.

Thank you for everything.

FAQ

What role does a doula do in birth?

My role as a doula is to hold space for you supporting you emotionally, physically and practically so you feel grounded, and able to trust yourself throughout your birth.

This can look like offering reassurance, helping you stay calm and present, suggesting positions and comfort measures, and supporting you in understanding your options as things unfold. Often simply reminding you that you’ve got this.

I’m also there for your birth partner, helping them feel confident and supported in their role, so they can be fully present with you rather than feeling unsure or overwhelmed.

What areas do you cover?

I am based in Lytham, Lancashire and cover: Lytham, Lytham St.Annes, Preston, Blackpool and the surrounding areas. If you wish to birth in hospital I can attend either Blackpool Victoria hospital or Royal Preston hospital. I am willing to travel if you do not live in this catchment area however this will incur additional travel expenses.

What’s the best time to book with you?

My birthing clients usually book 3 months in advance as I only offer one space per month based on EDD. I do accept last minute bookings subject to availability.

Birth With Choice group course

If you are looking for an experienced, approachable, knowledgable hypnobirthing educator then I highly recommend Eleanor at Birth With Choice. Eleanor offers a variety of classes and support in person and online that is tailored to you. Head over to her website for more details.

Do you support all births?

Yes, I support home birth, birth centre birth & hospital birth. My work is especially aligned with mothers who want to feel informed, trust their intuition and take an active role in the decisions they make.

Will you be available when I give birth?

I am on call from 38 weeks until your baby is born. I am available 24/7 and will come to your birth place of choice when birth begins.

In the very unlikely event I am unable to attend your birth I work closely with Eleanor from Birth With Choice who will be your back up doula. She is exactly who I would have in my corner if I were giving birth myself.

Do you offer payment plans?

I do offer flexible payment plans, get in touch and we can organise instalments that suit you. The full balance is due when you reach 34 weeks.

Do I have to pay upfront?

No you do not have to pay the full amount upfront. A non refundable deposit of £100 is requested upon booking to secure your slot. The remaining balance is due when you reach 34 weeks gestation.
