Home Birth Circle

in Lytham

FOR MUMS PLANNING A HOME BIRTH and wanting to feel confident in their choices

Imagine walking into a room where you feel seen, understood, and supported in the way you want to birth your baby.

Surrounded by women who just get it, and want to have honest and deeply connecting conversations about birth.

Where nobody is rolling their eyes at your choices, questioning whether it’s safe, or telling you how “brave” you are for wanting to birth at home.

This intimate Home Birth Circle is a space for women who are considering, planning, or feeling drawn towards birthing their babies at home.

Whether you feel deeply certain in your decision or still find yourself navigating fear, questions, or outside opinions, this is a space for honest conversations, grounded evidence based education, and gentle reassurance away from the fear-based narratives that so often surround birth.

Perhaps you’re wondering how home birth actually works, what support is available, how emergencies are handled, or whether home birth is still possible after being labelled “high risk” or planning a VBAC.

Maybe something inside you simply knows home is where you would feel safest, calmest, and most held as you bring your baby into the world.

Together we will explore what it means to prepare for a physiological birth at home, reconnect with trust in your body and your instincts, and create space to slow down and connect deeply with both yourself and your baby through guided relaxation and reflection.

BIRTH + Postnatal Doula in Lancashire

Hi, I'm Demi

I care deeply about how you feel during pregnancy birth and postpartum. I am a mother of two, experienced birth and postnatal doula.

Holding space for mothers in every season of life is my passion. It was after my own experience of matrescence that shifted everything for me and called me to birth work.

I had an ecstatic VBAC water birth at 42 weeks with my son Oti and I've supported mums who have chosen to birth at home through autonomous choice, in a way that feels right for them.

Honestly? there's nothing more magic than seeing a woman reclaim her power in birth.

FAQ

What if I'm not sure that a home birth is for me?

That's totally okay, you don't need to be sure if it's right for you. That's exactly what this evening is about, to offer information, support without pressure or judgement.

I have been told I'm not allowed a home birth, is it even worth coming?

Yes! Many women exploring home birth have previously been told their options are limited. This circle offers space to explore your choices, ask questions, and hear different experiences in a supportive environment.

What should I bring?

You don't need to bring anything with you, you're welcome to bring a blanket for the guided relaxation at the end to get cosy.

Come as you are, I'll take care of the rest.

How many women will attend?

There are only 6 spaces available, this circle is intentionally small to create an intimate safe space to have these honest conversations.

Is this anti-hospital or anti medical care?

Not at all. This circle is about informed choice, education, and supporting women to explore what feels right for them and their babies.

What if I get emotional?

That is completely welcome. Conversations around birth can bring up a wide range of emotions, and you will be held in a gentle, non-judgemental space throughout.

Can I bring my partner?

This is a women-only circle. It has been intentionally created as a space for mothers to connect, share, and explore their experiences in a safe and supported environment.
